GENERAL RULES

1.) Each competitor will be given 3 judged runs with a maximum time limit of 1 min per run. The best score among the 3 individual runs will be the official entry score for consideration to qualify for the main event.

2.) Seeding will be based on the scores of each competitor. Only the top 16 competitors will advance to the main event. Each competitor will be given 2 judged runs which will be accumulated to determine advancement to the quarter finals.

3.) The top 8 competitors will continue to the quarter finals and will have 2 judged runs which will be accumulated to determine the top four which will proceed to the semi finals.

4.) From the 4 competitors, only the top two will proceed to the finals and will be given 2 runs each.

5.) The finals will have the top 2 competitors run 3 judged heats which will be accumulated to determine the champion

6.) Sudden death rules will apply in case of a tie.

JUDGING:

• Judging will be based on four categories to accumulate points

o -speed
o -angle of attack
o -showmanship
o -execution

• In case of spins, 50 points will be deducted. Scores will be added or deducted for getting close or far from to the apex. The closer the nose of the car is the higher the score. Points should be deducted if the car is more than 1.5m from the apex or clipping point.

• There will be three judges to award points for each competitor.

• The maximum points scored that can be awarded by each judge are 10 points while the minimum is 1 point.

• Each competitor can accumulate a maximum of 30 points.

• The scores will be displayed on a board for public scrutiny and tallying

ELIGIBILITY OF DRIVERS:

Drivers who are holders of a Philippine driver’s license, an international license or a racing license are eligible to compete.

Minors should have written permission from parents or guardians to participate in the competition.

ENTRIES:

A driver is allowed to register and enter only once per event.

Multiple drivers may take turns driving one car.

Eligible drivers must show proof of ownership and registration of their cars. In case of different ownership, a written permission from the owner of the vehicle should be presented.
